This week's product update shows the attempt we're making to allow you to remotely control Shutdown Timer without the need to be sitting at your system.
One thing we've learned from feedback is that users require the need to control Shutdown Timer when they're away from their system. This is a very technical feature and requires the use of servers and if required out the internal network, port forwarding.
Shutdown Timer will incorporate two interfaces; Web and Mobile. The Web version will provide a design that resembles the actual application. The two interfaces will work in sync, so if you change something on the web version the desktop version will change as well. This gives you a sense of a fluid control.
The Mobile version will host a easy to use and understandable layout for changing options and even start or stop the timer.
We hope these changes make your experience of Shutdown Timer a whole lot better.
